Employment Conditions

Introduction to work – each person before starting work will go through an induction in a factory where will take a job and will be explained all conditions and safety roles. Than will be given appropriate tools and safety clothes.

Advances - after coming to work place labour will receive cash advance: £50 for first 4 weeks and than £100. Advances will be deducted from final salary.

Payments - transfers are done once a month - within 21 days of the following month, in to labours account (in GBP or PLN).

Working hours - around 260-280 hr/month, we guarantee minimum 200hrs.

Accommodation - we provide accommodation in 2 up to 4 bedroom houses or B&B withing full time of the contract. We charge deposit 26,25/week, but after fulfilling the contract we pay the money back.

Transport - we cover transport costs from Poland to the work place country and back. We provide also transport to work if accommodation is in a long distance from the work place.

Breaking the contract - if labour will break contract roles or will be disciplinary dismissed company will charge him with accommodation,  transport  and administration costs.

Low condition in UK / registration in UK - within 12 weeks after arrival each person should register in  Department of Social Security in order to get NIN. This number is necessary whilst taking up the legal job in UK. It’s necessary when one wishes to contest for allowances, reliefs or pension. Registration process in free of charge.

That is why to get NIN should be the first thing to do after arriving to UK. In order to get it you need to have a passport or any kind of ID that confirms you identity, documents confirming your address, letter from employee or job contract, payslips.

Taxation - the tax year last from April. This year it is from 6th April 2008 until 5th April 2009 There is no obligation of paying taxes unless if you will earn less than 5435 GBP. This is amount free of tax.
