EAPL Southampton building bridges
with the Environment Agency

EAPL Southampton was asked to fully refurbish and strengthen an existing vehicle access bridge that had been unusable for over 4 years.  Working with the previous survey report and existing design, EAPL developed a scheme to strengthen the bridge structural members and fully refurbished the topside of the bridge with reclaimed sleepers to deliver a vehicle ready bridge that was aesthetically in keeping with the original bridge and surrounding area.   The works on site was completed within four days to meet the window of opportunity offered by the site owner who run an exclusive fishing retreat.  Another job well done, to time and budget!
