Engine Room Pipework
Extended and Reconnected
EAPL was requested by a long-standing client to attend site and inspect pipework within the engine room that had been installed too short and, as a result, was not connected to the engine water cooler.
Following an on-site assessment, EAPL removed the affected pipework and transported it for modification.
The team extended the pipe by cutting the end of the original section and welding on a new length to achieve the correct specification.
Once fabrication was completed, EAPL returned to site to reinstall and securely connect the pipework. The entire process was carried out efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime to the vessel.
