Fender Replacement Project
Completed for Woolwich Ferry
EAPL has successfully completed the removal and replacement of 15 fenders at the Woolwich Ferry terminal. The project involved installing seven new fenders on both the Northside and Southside, along with a face fender on the mooring pontoon.
EAPL managed the entire operation, coordinating the removal and installation of the fenders. To assist with the heavy lifting, a crane barge from CPBS, named Chilli Dog, was brought in to facilitate the process.
To carry out the work, the ferry service was temporarily suspended. Despite the tight timelines, the team completed the task within two days, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime for the service.
EAPL takes pride in once again partnering with Transport for London on another successful project at the Woolwich Ferry.
