Jetting Plough Prepared
for Shipment to Brazil
An exciting and unique project for the team at EAPL Southampton to get involved in.
Our client tasked us with carrying out a load test on a lightweight jetting plough. Fully assembled, the plough weighed 24 tonnes, with an additional 7 tonnes added to complete the lift test.
The project involved a substantial number of crane operations to unload, assemble, dismantle, and prepare the plough for transport to the painters. In total, 54 individual lifts were completed using a 90-tonne crane.
The entire operation was successfully completed over a three-day period.
The unit is now with the painters and, once finished, will be packed and shipped to Brazil, where it will be used for operations within the Amazon.
