Alongside EAPL's diverse range of engineering services, we also provide Proof Load Testing and LOLER Thorough Examinations for lifting equipment.
These inspections are carried out in accordance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), helping to ensure that lifting equipment is safe to use, fit for purpose, and compliant with current legislation.
The example below shows a proof load test being carried out on a customer's vessel using a calibrated test load of 2,000 kg. Throughout the test, the lifting equipment was inspected and monitored to confirm that it operated safely under load. Following successful completion, the equipment was confirmed as compliant with the relevant LOLER requirements and suitable for continued service.
