Underway at Purfleet
EAPL has embarked on Phase 3 of the scope of works for Heidelberg Materials UK at the Purfleet depot.
This is one of six trestles supporting a 250-metre-long walkway and conveyor. We initially pressure washed the structure, used needle guns to prepare the steel, carried out steel repairs at the top of the trestle, and then applied a two-pack epoxy primer to the trestle legs, followed by a two-pack polyurethane topcoat in green.
This process will be repeated on the remaining five trestles.
